Some interesting points in this post by Adam Brault about quitting twitter for a month and finding peace.  I’ve found that taking a break from any of the electronic fire hoses brings peace and that rarely anything important is missed as a result of being away.

I love using Pocket to save articles that I’ll “read later.” It is a fantastic resource for capturing all those links you gather throughout the day… from twitter, RSS feeds, emails from co-workers, etc.

The funny thing is that I only read a fraction of the articles I save to read later.  I have almost 1,000 unread articles (going back a couple of years).  Sometimes I think I should go on a link collecting diet until I go through all the articles I have saved.  On other days I think about just ignoring them and relishing the time I have saved by saying I’ll read something later and then never going back to it.
