# [Where Do You Go to Get Things Done?](https://johnpoelstra.com/gtd-location/)

This is the dilemma of today’s office presence. I’ve walked through or heard of more than one fancy new office space that’s empty because half of the people work are working from home on a given day.

I love working from home. It isn’t without it’s challenges or disadvantages, but I love having my own space with more control over the interruptions. And occasionally I leave it to for a change of scenery or to avoid the interruptions or chaos going on at home. 🙂

My favorite place to go is the [Hillsboro Public Library](http://www.hillsboro-oregon.gov/index.aspx?page=89)
. It has tons of desks along the big windows looking out on the pond and a great quiet study area. [Beaverton Public Library](http://www.beavertonlibrary.org/index.aspx?NID=165)
also has an excellent quiet study room.

Who else out there works from home? Where do you go to be productive?
