It has been quite a journey and we’re almost to the finish line.  After shipping the Fedora 14 Alpha a week late because of too many big changes at the last-minute, we released the Fedora 14 Beta on time.  We’re very close to achieving my modified Fedora 14 feature so don’t let up now!

After a busy week last week chasing blocker bugs down each day and getting the release candidate created, we’re on track to release the final version of Fedora 14 on time.  Only a few tasks remain.

You can help be part of this success story by helping with our final round of testing.  One of the rewards of helping to test the release candidate is the opportunity to install the almost completed release before its official release.

Our next important check-in is this Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 5 PM EDT when we’ll determine if all the tests have been run and if there are any important unresolved bugs.  You can learn more about the Go/No-Go meeting on the wiki.

On release day, November 2, 2010, Fedora 14 will be available at http://fedoraproject.org/get-fedora.
